Instructions
In a large skillet or saucepan, add olive oil and onion over medium heat. Saute for about 4-5 minutes, then add the garlic and cook for another 3 minutes.
Add the green beans and the water and cook over medium heat, stirring every 5 minutes for 15-20 minutes, or until the beans are tender.
Season with lemon juice, zest, red pepper flakes, sea salt and freshly ground pepper.
