Turmeric Smoothie

Ingredients

  • ½ cup zucchini chopped, frozen
  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk or coconut, hemp or rice milk
  • 1 date pitted
  • 1 tsp ground turmeric
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon

Instructions

  • Blend the zucchini, banana, and non-dairy milk until well blended.
  • Add the date, turmeric, coconut oil and cinnamon and blend until smooth.

Notes

This is an anti-inflammatory way to kick off your day (or enjoy an afternoon snack). We can't get enough of turmeric, so why not add it to the smoothie line-up?
