Orange Cacao Avocado Mousse
- 2 avocados ripe
- 3 tbsp non-dairy milk
- ½ cup raw cacao powder or unsweetened cocoa
- 1 tbsp orange zest
- 2 tbsp orange marmalade unsweetened (St. Dalfour or Cascadian Farms)
- fresh fruit
- nuts chopped
- In a high speed blender or food processor, blend the avocado until smooth.
- Add all other ingredients, blending until mixture is uniform. Chill for a half hour in the freezer, then serve garnished with fresh fruit or chopped nuts.
It’s pretty incredible that such humble ingredients can be whipped into a raw, chocolate delicious wonderment. Make ahead tip: Prep in advance and keep in the fridge to eat whenever! Lasts for 2-3 days refrigerated.
