Raise your hand if you have no idea what’s for d Raise your hand if you have no idea what’s for dinner and all you want to do is chill-lax? 🤚🏽 Don’t worry. We’ve got you. Meet our Grown-Up Buttered Noodle recipe. Toss in a handful of greens or add a side of veggies and you’ve got yourself an easy peasy meal. Recipe below, friends!⁣
⁣
Grown-Up Buttered Noodles⁣
⁣
makes: 1-2 servings⁣
cook time: 10-12 minutes⁣
⁣
1 1/2c pasta (we used banza gemelli!)⁣
2 tbsp ghee⁣
1/3 cup nutritional yeast⁣
a sprinkle of salt⁣
a few turns of freshly cracked pepper⁣
⁣
Bring pasta water to a boil, and sprinkle in a pinch of salt. Add the pasta and cook to al dente, and drain (7-9 minutes depending on your preference.) reserving 1/4c of the pasta water - this has all the good starches from the pasta that will help bind your ‘sauce.’⁣
⁣
Add the ghee, nutritional yeast, salt, and pepper, and about half the reserved pasta water to start. stir, and see if you need more pasta from there. The heat from the pasta and the water will melt the nutritional yeast and help the ghee get silky.⁣
⁣
Cheers to the weekend 🤸🏻
