Bloat/ gas


  • I seem to get really gassy after eating kale and bloated/grumbly guts after eating spinach. In the guide I read that a fix for this might be cooking either veggie. How much should I be cooking these? Also, I REALLY like to eat raw leafy greens, is there an alternative I should be consuming instead?

    Steaming or sauteing spinach or kale should help if you’re feeling gassy or bloated when you eat them raw. You can also try digestive bitters (I like Urban Moonshine) as needed or digestive enzymes before meals. Always be sure to eat while you’re relaxed, too, to stimulate stomach acid and your own natural digestive enzymes. A few deep breaths before eating can help. Chewing your food thoroughly can also help digestion and reduce bloating. Hopefully these things help!
