Caffeine vs Decaf

  • I have recently decided to move away from caffeinated coffee and am now drinking primarily decaf–is the guideline of one cup still remain?

  • Hi Brandy! Great question. I just had a baby and am doing the SAME thing. Decaf still gives me all the morning ritual happy feels without the caffeine crash in the afternoon. To answer your question, no – since decaf has very little caffeine, you could certainly have more if you would like. I would; however, recommend sticking with an organic decaf as non-organic coffee can be grown with lots of pesticides. As a bonus, organic coffee beans are richer in healthful antioxidants! Cheers!

  • You could also experiment with mushroom coffee like Four Sigmatic. I’ve yet to try it but have heard great things! It has half the caffeine of regular coffee plus tons of added benefits like improved immunity, better focus, and more!
