Mini lamb meatballs!

  • YOU GUYS. Those mini lamb meatballs are amazing! I made them tonight and everyone, including my husband and picky eater 6-year-old twins, loved them. My birthday is at the end of this month and my husband wanted to talk about what we could plan for a special family dinner that night, and I was all, “um….can we have THESE??”

I also made the chocolate tahini cookies and they were really good but they completely fell apart. We DID eat them about 5 seconds out of the oven so we probably just needed to wait a hot minute.

  • YAY! So happy to hear that you and your sweet family ALL loved the mini lamb meatballs, Annie! They are a huge crowd-pleaser at our house too – My daughter (also 6-yrs-old) always asks for seconds. Love hearing that you are already planning on having them for your birthday as well! 🙂
The chocolate tahini cookies are what my husband calls “yummy fall apart cookies” because he cannot wait until they cool to eat them either. That said, you are correct…they do stay together once they have cooled completely (10-15 min) – they are so nutrient-dense, having TWO cookies is totally fair game! Cheers to an awesome first day…thanks so much for sharing!

  • We just created a kid-friendly meal plan we’ll be releasing soon, too! I think your family will love it – the mini lamb meatballs are one of the dinners on there so you can look forward to round two! So glad to hear you’re loving the recipes.

  • Thanks to you both! I’m probably going off adrenaline right now–just excited to actually be making and eating good-quality things for a change, and with this nice community, too–but I hope I can find a rhythm that’s fun AND sustainable. So far, so good.

  • I will try these tomorrow! How do the meal plans work? Is it a separate subscription or are there weekly meal plans we can use from being in the program? I struggle with too many choices of recipes!

  • Hi Jessica! Great question. Your P20 program actually includes ALL of the benefits that our meal planning subscribers get – you have full access to 400+ P20-approved recipes, our meal planning tool as well as the ability to generate grocery lists. I would recommend watching the ‘meal planning’ videos in your Resources section. You will notice that you have three templates in your meal plans – a sample meal plan, a kid-friendly meal plan and a blank meal plan. Once you’ve saved a bunch of your favorite recipes (click the little heart icon or ‘save’ button), you can pull from your favorites into your own custom meal plans. Feel free to start with one of the sample meal plans if you are feeling overwhelmed this week…and perhaps move on to building your own next? Let us know if you have any questions and ENJOY!
