  • Hi! My name is Alison. I am from Bloomington, MN. I am a breastfeeding mama to a 6 month old and work full time, so my nutrition has unintentionally taken a back seat for a while when it’s probably more important than ever! I am hoping for a reset, better energy, and confidence. Nice to meet you all!

  • Hey, I’m Dani! I’m originally from MN but currently living in Copenhagen, Denmark. Along with taking the program myself I am also helping lead a group of my readers through it and am excited for all of us to learn more about nutrition together. Although I tend to eat quite healthy my downfall is sweets, so my main goal is to learn some healthier ways to satisfy those cravings. Already off to a great start this week with the Double Chocolate Tahini Cookies! ā¤šŸ™ŒšŸ»

  • Hi, my name is Brandy and Iā€™m from Denver, CO! I find myself wondering a lot about foods that could possibly be making me uncomfortable (i.e. bloating, heart burn, etc.) as well as getting a better understanding of what ā€œintuitive eatingā€ actually means. I donā€™t think I have a good grasp of this concept and find that I likely go on binges of eating ā€œreally healthyā€ and ā€œnot healthyā€. So overall, Iā€™m hopeful to better balance myself.

  • Hi! I’m Amber & I live in Madison, WI. I’m looking forward to this program as an opportunity to reset and learn how to make better nutrition choices on a daily basis. Similarly to Brandy, I want to try to understand what foods are making me feel bad vs. energized!

  • Hello! I’m Lindsay – I live in Edina, MN. I’m so ready for P20 and excited to be jumping in with all of you. Fall tends to me my “new year” – I’m looking forward to a reset, taking control of my Covid chaos and refocusing on healthy cooking, meal planning and mindful eating. Bring on better sleep, glowing skin and boundless energy!

  • Hi, I am Aleta, and I live in Worcester, MA. After finishing residency and feeling as if I lost control over my diet and nutrition I am looking forward to getting back on track and learning a more intuitive way of eating that doesn’t involve meticulous calorie counting.

  • Hi, P20ers! So excited to join you on this journey for the next 20 days. This is my THIRD P20. It’s something I truly look forward to. There is something about Fall that makes it feel like it’s time to reboot! After each program I’ve done, I’ve gotten better at incorporating the principles into my daily life. I totally see the progress with each program and I’m ready to improve a bit again. Cheers to all of you who are returning and all of you new folks. See you on the discussion boards soon!

Oh – and make sure you try chocolate tahini cookies, the honey dijon sheet pan chicken and all of the overnight oat recipes. My whole family loves them!

  • Hi, I’m Claudia and I’ve been doing so much better with food, no dairy, etc. but wanted a little more structure so here I am. I live in Wisconsin (omg cheese curds!) and stay home to help with my son’s virtual schooling and I am exhausted. Hello everyone!

  • Hi all! I’m Ashley and I live in Minneapolis, MN. I recently made a big life change (leaving a career in technology to go back to school for anthropology) and I am EXHAUSTED. I know that I haven’t been fueling my body in a way that will provide the brain power I need and excited to learn how to do so.

  • Hello! Iā€™m Meghan. Iā€™m 32 and live in North Minneapolis, MN. Iā€™m in law school and our schedule this year is so strange because of Covid changes. I have class until 9 pm M-Th! I joined this group with my mom because we LOVE DANI and always love her recommendations. I want to learn about intuitive eating and get a grip on how much candy I eat (itā€™s a lot) and create better habits. Dani has been so inspiring with her hydration page and knowledge and I canā€™t wait to learn more!!

  • Hey! I’m Lizzie, I’m a 32yo living in New Orleans. My favorite meal is a meat and cheese board with a bottle of wine and delicious bread…. soooo I am pretty nervous about cutting out dairy and gluten. I know that I need to eat healthier and I genuinely want to but am super intimidated as i’m not much of a cook. I’m the baker in the family– making cookies, Really looking forward to being in community with you all!

  • Hi! I’m Kerry from Oklahoma. I am a mom of an 18 month old and have let my health take a backseat since she was born. I am at the heaviest I’ve ever been and don’t feel like myself. I eat out so much and don’t exercise anymore and I’m looking for a way to start back on a health journey that isn’t calorie counting. I also want to make sure we have good nutritional meals for her so she grows up with a good relationship with food.

  • Hi I’m Heather and I live in Plymouth, MN. I’m currently finishing up my last few weeks of maternity leave and getting ready to have 2 working adults, a 3 year old and a newborn at home this winter. I have completed a few Prescribe 20’s a few years ago and I’m back because I need to start eating better food to support breastfeeding, postpartum recovery and kick this sugar habit that has taken over. Looking forward to getting back to quality whole foods!

  • It’s so good to hear from all of you!! I have a feeling we’ll have some GREAT discussions over the next few weeks. I see a lot of common themes – wanting to feel more energized, learning how to make better choices, moving from calorie counting to a more “intuitive” approach. We’ll talk about all of these things and more throughout the program. Be sure to check the discussion boards for tips and support from me, other PN nutritionists, and your fellow P20-ers! We’re so glad to have you all here!

  • Hi! I’m Katie and I live in Charlottesville, Virginia. I have a two month old and a 22 month old. I’m looking for more ways to find balance, feed my family nutritiously, and prioritize my own health/energy!

  • Hello! I’m Lucy from Minneapolis, MN. I’ve done PN a couple of times, but it was several years ago. I found it to be a way to get back on track with eating whole foods so I’m excited to participate again. With summer and being home, I’ve found myself snacking, drinking, and getting take out much more than I want to (or rather should). Looking forward to a reset!

  • Hello! I am Jami from Northeast Iowa. I am a mama of a 2 year old and, although I love fitness and health, it has gotten a lot harder since being given the title of mom. Itā€™s so easy to put myself on the back burner even though I know better. Iā€™ve found myself in a funk lately with making healthy food that actually tastes good so I am excited to be here to try out some new recipes that my family will love!!

  • I’m Mary Beth and I live just outside Cleveland, OH. I have a 3-month-old and a 3-year-old. I’m looking for a better understanding of how to combine nutrients (protein, carb, fat) for health and balance, and I’m also excited for a bit of extra guidance around hydration. Since I’m breastfeeding my daughter, I’m approaching all of this through that lens–not seeking to deprive myself of anything, but rather to ensure balance and nutrition for both of us!

  • Hi! I’m Angie from Seattle, WA. I’m working full-time at home while also homeschooling two kids. I’m looking to eat better in a sustainable way for our entire family. My son and husband can only eat small amounts of dairy, and our kids have decided not to eat much meat. I’m hoping for easy meal plans that work for all of us.

  • Hi P20ers! I’m Christina, another one of the nutritionists youā€™ll see on the discussion board. Iā€™m here to answer your questions and to help support you over the next 20 days. I can relate to many of the busy mamas on this board – I have a 6-yr-old and a two-month-old (currently sleeping in a baby carrier on my chest). My meal plans need to take into consideration the entire family, so I’m here to help provide tips/tricks for our littlest discerning eaters and tackle your family-related questions. Breastfeeding is one of my favorite topics so happy to help the fellow nursing mamas with milk supply, easy snacks, etc.
Super excited to be here with you! You are all amazing for making this commitment to yourselves and I can’t wait to hear how you feel in 20 days! You’ve got this.

  • Hello! Iā€™m Jen from TN. I am a nurse, and often do not eat or hydrate enough during the workday, especially now. Too often I grab something comforting, not as healthy as Iā€™d like, and way too late before bed. I am looking forward to getting back on track with nutrition, hydration and fitness and planning and preparing healthy meals for my husband and our young child.

  • Hi! I’m Lindsay and I live in San Francisco. I am a nurse working night shift. The stress and limited sleep has made my snacking and sugar habit even worse. I’m excited for P20 to reboot my diet, make me feel energized, and get me back into a healthier routine with my eating.

  • Hello! My name is Melissa and Iā€™m from Vancouver, BC, Canada. I have always struggled with ā€˜intuitive eatingā€™ and understanding of balancing meals. This has led to a lot of diets, counting calories and weight fluctuations over the years. I am also a Mom of two ( a two year old and a two month old) and am currently breastfeeding. Due to COVID, Iā€™m home with our two boys and donā€™t have much childcare help at the moment. SO, Iā€™m looking for some easy, healthy tips to get myself and the family on a healthier eating schedule as well education on the basics of healthy food balance and eating to nourish my body during breastfeeding (and beyond) but also be able to teach my kids how to do so for themselves from the beginning! Thanks to Dani for suggesting this course and looking forward to learning together šŸ™‚

  • Hi crew! I’m Tara and I live in Saint Louis Park, MN. I’m really looking forward to more structure and inspiration from P20 and also avoid the FOMO from Dani. šŸ™‚ I have not been honoring my well-being, so I’m excited to hit the reset button in hopes of building some sustainable habits.

  • Hello all! I’m Alexa, and I’m a 26 year old Minnesotan! I I switched to eating mostly pescatarian about 6 months ago. I am happy with this transition, but want to get a better grasp on nutrition to make sure I’m making meals that keep me full and properly nourished. I’m about to move into a converted van to live full time, so I’m looking forward to learning new recipes to cook in my very tiny kitchen! I joined this program with Dani’s group – I can’t wait to learn and grow in my cooking confidence!

  • Hi all – I’m Jamie, living in Lafayette, CO (which is right next to Boulder, north of Denver). I’ve been on quite the journey since 2016, when I lost 100 pounds through diet and exercise. I’ve maintained the weight loss, and a few months ago had skin removal surgery, but did emerge from it all with some pretty unhealthy habits/thoughts around food. I am admittedly terrified of carbs (I lost all the weight eating low carb) and really want to learn to eat in a way that I can maintain my weight loss without tracking everything–it’s my default whenever I start to feel like things aren’t going well. I know I can always learn more and am excited to do this!

  • Hi! I’m Chloe. I’m also a Madison, Wisconsin resident (small world šŸ‘‹). I’ve never been a fan of fad diets and have always appreciated a “lifestyle” approach to eating. Even with that outlook, I don’t think I’ve ever found a balanced way to incorporate everything I need to into my diet. I’ve also recently become aware of how big of a role diet plays in fertility and I’m hoping this program will aid me in adapting healthy, nourishing habits so that my husband and I can successfully grow our family. Nice to meet everyone! (p.s. I’m a Dani referral. šŸ˜Š)

  • Hi, I’m Colleen! I live in Minneapolis, MN. I’m the only cook in my household and when I don’t feel like cooking, my husband and I end up getting takeout or pulling something quick from the freezer. I’m looking forward to the structure of P20 while also hoping to add some staple, healthy and easy recipes to my cooking repertoire. My husband and I are also hoping to start a family in the next year or so and properly fueling my body is important. Like several others, I too am a Dani referral because she is the person who changed my life with her hydration protocol! I’m excited for all P20 has to offer!

  • Hello, I’m Amy! I’m 34 and live in Minneapolis. Since the beginning of the pandemic, I’ve found that I have more time to prepare meals, but no motivation to do it. I’m looking forward to using this as a reset, finding recipes and healthy ways to build a meal, and setting myself up for healthy balance in the future! I joined with Dani’s group as well and can’t wait to see how healthy eating and proper hydration can fuel my body and mind.

  • Hi, my name is Darcy and I live in Decorah, IA. I’m ready to retire after a 39 year career with the postal service! I read about this course on my daughter Dani’s blog and decided that even though I eat pretty healthy, more information on nutrition would be great!

  • Hi all ! I am late to introducing myself, but I am also here with Dani’s group! I live in Atlanta, GA where I’m working on my doctorate. I’m here because I’ve fallen into a major recipe rut in COVID, and really need a jolt of inspiration. I’ve also struggled to make time to eat healthy breakfasts and lunches throughout the day — I find that while working from home, I end up glued to my computer and don’t even realize I’m hungry until its several hours past when I should have had a meal! So, working on all of this as we go šŸ™‚
