Blueberry Mint Smoothie
Serves: 1 large or 2 small
2 cups dark leafy greens, your choice
¼ cup fresh mint leaves
½ cup non-dairy milk, your choice
½ cup water
1 cup frozen blueberries
½ ripe banana
4-5 brazil nuts or small handful (about 12-14) of cashews
1 tablespoon chia or flax seeds
Zest of 1 lime
1. Blend greens, mint, milk, and water until well blended.
2. Add the blueberries, bananas, nuts, chia/ flax, zest and blend until smooth. If using protein powder or seed mix, add at the very end. (you don’t want to overblend protein powder).
